Preston Shepard

Preston Shepard is an experienced audio engineer with a diverse background in music production and performance. Currently at Megatrax Production Music since February 2013, Preston specializes in recording, editing, mixing, quality control, asset management, music arrangement, and session production. Preston also operates Shepard Creative SoundLabs and has maintained a freelance career as a horn player since February 2000, performing with various orchestras, bands, and in recording sessions for radio, television, film, and video games. Prior experience includes technical support roles at M-Audio and Avid M-Audio Technology Company, as well as music engineering and post-production mixing for The Composer Collective from 2007 to 2009. Preston holds a BA in Music with a concentration in French Horn Performance from Azusa Pacific University, attended California State University, Northridge, and has been involved in the music industry in various capacities since 1999.
