Jamie Akemann

Jamie Akemann has an extensive work experience in the retail industry. Jamie started their career at Office Depot in 1995, where they held the roles of DMM and Director of Copy & Print until 2004. From 2005 to 2008, they worked at The Home Depot as the Director of Merchandise Planning. In 2008, they joined Advance Auto Parts as the Vice President of Merchandising Sales Area, a position they held until 2012. Since then, they have worked at Meijer, first as the Vice President Electronics, Media, School & Home Office, Auto, DIY, Sports, & Toys, and currently as the Group Vice President, Hardlines and Global Sourcing.

Jamie Akemann completed an executive education program at the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business in 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Sciences from Lynn University between 2003 and 2005. Jamie also attended St. Cloud State University from 1986 to 1988, where they pursued General Studies.
