Alejandro Rivera is an Applications Engineer at Meissner Filtration Products since August 2022, with previous experience at Honeywell as an Additive Manufacturing Engineer and in various engineering roles, including Project Engineer and Propulsion Manufacturing Engineer Intern. Alejandro's foundational engineering skills were honed as Avionics Lead Structures Engineer at the USC Rocket Propulsion Lab, contributing to the successful launch of Traveler IV to space. Responsibilities included leading the design and fabrication of an Avionics Payload using CAD and FEA, ensuring its ability to transmit data after enduring extreme conditions. Prior internship experiences at Oakley involved designing ergonomic workstations and researching material properties for sunglasses production. Alejandro holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California, where involvement in community service and leadership was demonstrated through achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.
