Junwei Yang

Junwei Yang is an experienced professional in the aviation and drone delivery sectors, currently serving as the Head of Operations and Head of Strategy and Policy for the Drone Delivery Division at Meituan since June 2020. Prior to this role, Junwei led aerospace initiatives at the World Economic Forum and managed projects related to drones and airspace. Junwei has also served as a Technical Officer for Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems at the International Civil Aviation Organization and worked as a Terminal Air Traffic Controller at the Civil Aviation Administration of China. Additionally, Junwei has shared expertise as a visiting lecturer at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Junwei holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Integrated Aviation Management from McGill University and another Master’s in Aviation Management and Operations from ENAC.
