Weifen Chen

Weifen Chen is an experienced professional in sustainability and climate action, currently serving as Manager of ESG at Eve Energy Co. Ltd. since May 2023. With a strong background in carbon neutrality strategies and ESG performance, Weifen has led projects related to carbon emissions regulations and ESG frameworks, particularly focusing on lifecycle assessment and carbon footprint reduction for lithium battery materials. Previously, as CSR-Project Manager at Meituan, Weifen successfully orchestrated ESG initiatives with a flawless delivery rate for the Meituan Qingshan Technology Fund's projects. Weifen also gained valuable experience as an Engineer at China Everbright Environment Co. Ltd., where strategic development and market research in environmental projects were key responsibilities. Weifen holds a Master of Science in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Franklin & Marshall College.
