Yan Yang

Yan Yang is currently the Chief Product Officer at MEIZU, a position they have held for 11 years. Prior to that, they were the Creative Director at Eico Design Company for 3 years.

Yan has always been passionate about technology and design. Yan originally studied architecture before realizing their true calling was in product design. Yan then switched their focus and went on to receive their degree in industrial design from Tsinghua University.

After graduation, Yan began their career as a designer at Eico Design Company. Yan quickly rose through the ranks and became the Creative Director within 3 years. It was during their time at Eico that they honed their skills and gained a deep understanding of the product development process.

In 2008, Yan joined MEIZU as the Head of Design. Yan played a pivotal role in the development of MEIZU’s first smartphone, the M8, which was launched in 2009. Under Yan’s leadership, the MEIZU design team has released several iconic products, such as the MX series and the PRO series.

In 2019, Yan was promoted to Chief Product Officer, overseeing all aspects of product development and management. Yan is currently leading the team in developing MEIZU’s next-generation flagship smartphone.

Yan is a visionary leader with a strong passion for technology and design. Yan has a deep understanding of the product development process and is always looking for ways to improve it. Under their leadership, MEIZU has released several groundbreaking products that have set new standards in the industry.
