Lissa Chen has extensive experience in sales and customer management. Lissa began their career in 2008 as an Account Manager at Simplot Australia Pty Ltd. In this role, they developed technical skills across forecasting systems and built and implemented data analytics to deliver forecasts and business plans. Lissa was then promoted to Category Manager and Assistant Category Manager, where they were responsible for the data insights analysis to support ranging decisions, and category recommendations to drive business decisions and achieve sales and profit objectives.
In 2014, Chen moved to Obela Fresh Dips & Spreads - Australia as a National Account Manager - Independents. In this role, they built solid customer relationships, negotiated trading terms and business plans, and managed external field brokerage, ranging and distribution.
Chen then joined Kimberly-Clark in 2015, first as a National Customer Manager - Woolworths and then as a National Customer Manager - Independents. In both roles, they proposed, negotiated and established pricing strategies, achieved superior competitive advantage for Kimberly-Clark, and exceeded NSV targets and achieved exemplary ratings against all Kimberly-Clark behaviours.
In 2018, Chen joined Johnson & Johnson as a National Business - Pharmacy Channel. Lissa then joined Mekhala Living in 2022 as the Head of Sales. At Mekhala, they are responsible for creating beautiful, clean Asian-inspired food products that are vegan, organic, and gluten-free, and available in 2,000+ stores in 6 countries, including Whole Foods stores nationwide.
Lissa Chen attended St Clare's College Waverley from 1991 to 1996, where they completed their high school education. Lissa then attended Macquarie University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom in Accounting. Afterward, they attended the CPA Australia Program from 2003 to 2005, where they studied Accounting.
