The Melanoma Fund delivers national, public health campaigns, targeting all in sport and outdoor recreation. Skin cancer rates have soared by 70% in the last 10 years and this is simply not acceptable to us.

We work to:

• Raise awareness of the risks
• Improve sun protection habits
• Increase early detection rates
• Lower incidence of all types of skin cancer

Our campaigns are supported by hundreds of major organisations that work with us to help educate their members and customers.  Many underestimate the importance of sun protection, even if they understand the risks, and this is something we aim to impact.

The Outdoor Kids Sun Safety Code; designed to improve the provision of sun protection and early years habits to all primary aged children attending organised outdoor activity.

Watch Your Back! - a sun protection campaign for gardeners to ensure that everyone who loves the outdoors are aware of the importance of sun protection and checking their skin.

The Slip! Slap! Swing! sun protection campaign for all those who play or work in golf. Our mission is to get all clubs Sun Protection Accredited, raising awareness and cutting incidences of skin cancer in the sport.
