Robyn Doreian

Robyn Doreian is an accomplished freelance journalist with over two decades of experience, currently contributing feature articles and interviews to notable publications such as Sunday Life, Good Weekend, and The Big Issue. In addition to journalistic work, Robyn serves as a sessional lecturer at Melbourne Polytechnic, teaching subjects related to music writing and subcultures. A distinguished editor, Robyn held editorial positions at several music magazines, including Metal Hammer, Kerrang!, and Hot Metal, and has a background in graphic design. Robyn completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in 2023 and holds a Certificate IV in Professional Writing and Editing, along with a Diploma in Graphic Design from Swinburne University of Technology. Robyn is also an elected member of the ARIA Awards Voting Academy.
