Melgol specializes in the import, marketing, and distribution of sealing and insulation products for the construction industry, dealing with leading manufacturers across Israel and around the world. As the import arm of A. Halpern, one of Israel’s most experienced insulation and waterproofing experts, constantly seeks out the best and most innovative solutions in the field, ensuring that we offer our clients the optimal versatile systems adapted to their evolving needs.

These innovative solutions include utility roofs – a feature that is rapidly growing in popularity around the world, as people seek to use their rooftops for a variety of eco-friendly, space-saving purposes, including mounting solar panels.

Melgol establishes the infrastructure for three main types of utility roofs:

•	Green Roof – A rooftop garden, requiring various drainage and other systems.
•	Blue Roof – Rooftop rainwater storage, involving an advanced management system.
•	Integrated (Blue-Green) Roof – A combination of these two rooftop concepts.

These utility roofs offer many benefits for both residences and businesses, helping to create an attractive green space while improving water efficiency and reducing the risk of flooding and water damage during heavy rain. Of course, they must always be based on the correct infrastructure and waterproofing.

Thanks to our cooperation with A. Halperin, we can establish utility roof infrastructure that is a seamless part of the entire construction project from the very beginning, just like waterproofing and insulation. This simplifies the entire process for developers, architects, engineers, landscapers, and other professionals.
