Westley Dang

Westley Dang is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology sector, currently serving as a Partner and Principal at SOSV and as Chief Scientific Officer and Program Director at IndieBio since March 2020. Westley also holds positions as a Board Observer at VELOZBIO and Melio, providing guidance to companies focused on innovative approaches in molecular farming and infectious disease testing, respectively. Prior to these roles, Westley worked as a Life Sciences Strategy Consultant and conducted research as a Ph.D. graduate student at The Scripps Research Institute, specializing in neurobiology. Westley's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience from Scripps Research and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Neuroscience, and Math from the University of Puget Sound.
