Meliquina structures business partnerships where low-income rural communities in Latin America are shareholders in medium and large renewable energy projects, challenging the traditional approach that treats local communities as barriers to project development and a source of unproductive costs.

Our philosophy, informed by decades of experience of complex project development in emerging markets, is built on a simple premise: involving communities as owners in renewable energy projects from the outset leads to better outcomes for the project, developers, investors, and the community.

Our investment model redefines relations between communities, investors, and developers to create wealth for all.
