Daniel Castrillon Cuartas

Daniel Castrillon Cuartas has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Daniel is currently a Co-Founder and Director of Software Engineering & DevSecOps at Melonn since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Software Engineering at mutek from December 2018 to January 2021. Before that, they served as a Senior .NET Developer at MAS Global Consulting from August 2017 to December 2018. Daniel also co-founded Vaado Information Technologies in April 2014, where they worked until August 2017. Daniel started their career as a Software Developer at PSL in June 2013, designing and developing web applications using JavaScript, d3.js, MVC, and WebApi. Daniel also had research and development roles at Esterline Power Systems (Leach) in 2012 and 2010.

Daniel Castrillon Cuartas is currently enrolled in the MIT xPRO Technology Innovation and Acceleration Program, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Daniel is also pursuing a Generative AI with Large Language Models course on Coursera, specializing in Artificial Intelligence.

In 2015, Daniel obtained a Master's degree in Business Intelligence from the Universitat de Barcelona. Daniel later completed a course in AWS Cloud Architecture from Udacity in 2020. Additionally, in 2018, they completed a React Nanodegree program from Udacity.

Daniel holds multiple certifications, including the Technology and Innovation Acceleration Program from MIT xPRO and the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services, which they obtained in February 2020.

Earlier in their education, Daniel completed an Especialista en Automática degree from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, specializing in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Communications. Daniel also earned an Ingeniero Generalista degree in Computational Mechanics from Ecole nationale d'Ingénieurs de Metz in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Mechatronic Engineering from Escuela de Ingeniería de Antioquia between 2006 and 2012.
