Robertas Šaltis

Robertas Šaltis is the Chairman at MELP and was previously the Managing Director Baltics at Aon from January 2018 to November 2018. Robertas was responsible for co-managing and integrating teams and processes during and post M&A to create the largest insurance broker in the Baltics. Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder & Managing Director Baltics at BALTO LINK from March 2000 to November 2018. Robertas grew the company from zero to #1 in Lithuania and #2 in the Baltics. Robertas was also the first to start selling insurance online in 2003 and developed the most advanced in-house IT system to service B2C, B2B, and B2B2C needs.

Robertas Šaltis has an MBA (Hons) in Executive MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, an MBA (Hons) in Executive MBA from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, and a BA (Hons) in International Business from Concordia International University -- Estonia. Robertas has also completed a Secondary School education at Vilniaus 35-oji vid. m. (Mindaugo), and has received certification from the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance in Chairperson Education Certificate and Board Member Education Certificate. Additionally, they have received certification from the Financial and Capital Market Commission (FCMC) / Finanšu un Kapitāla Tirgus Komisija (FKTK) as a Licenced Insurance Broker in Latvia, and from Lietuvos bankas / Bank of Lithuania as a Licenced Insurance Broker in Lithuania.
