MEM Scholars is a college scholarship program supporting exceptional high school seniors in Colorado and Washington who embody a passion for learning, creative expression, and a commitment to a better world. Each year, we award three students with $100,000 scholarships to help them pursue their college education.

Funded by the Michael E. McGoldrick Charitable Foundation, the program honors the life and values of Michael McGoldrick—a lifelong educator, investor, conservationist, and patron of the arts. Michael believed in the transformative power of both academic and experiential learning, and in the ability of the arts, nature, and critical thinking to shape compassionate, informed citizens.
We seek students who reflect Michael’s values:

• A passion for knowledge and discovery—both in the classroom and in the world

• A belief in truth, justice, and human rights

• A deep appreciation for the arts and music

• A love for the natural world and commitment to conservation

• The curiosity and drive to make a meaningful impact
