Douglas Lain

Douglas Lain has been working in various roles since 1995. Douglas started off as an Editor at the Daily Vanguard in 1995. In 1997, they worked as a Marketing and Subscriptions employee at the Oregon Symphony. In 2007, they worked as a Sales Rep at Comcast. From 2009 to 2010, they were the Host and Writer of the Diet Soap Podcast and the Social Media Marketing Coordinator at Portland Revels. In 2010, they were a Copywriter and Voice Work at Lingofeeds. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Content Producer at Membean. Since 2015, they have been the Publisher of Zero Books at John Hunt Publishing Limited. Most recently, in 2021, they became an Entrepreneur.

Douglas Lain obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Portland State University between 1994 and 1997. Douglas also attended Eckerd College for Creative Writing, but did not receive a degree.
