Virginia Breder

Virginia Breder has extensive experience in the field of education, with a particular focus on French language instruction. Virginia has held various roles throughout their career, starting as a French and History Teacher at Mesquite Independent School District from 2002 to 2005. Virginia then worked as an IB MYP and DP French Teacher at Hyde Park Academy in Chicago Public Schools from 2005 to 2010. Following that, they were a French Teacher at Proviso Math and Science Academy from 2010 to 2011.

From 2011 to 2015, Virginia worked as a French Teacher at Lyons Township High School, where they taught multiple levels of French and served as the French Club sponsor and Co-Sponsor of the French Exchange program. Virginia also received additional training in curriculum alignment and instructional techniques.

In 2015, Virginia joined Wall Street English China as a Foreign Trainer, where they developed and delivered daily English lessons and led English Corners. Virginia also taught VIP students and conducted corporate training.

From 2016 to 2020, Virginia held the position of Instructional Coach and French Teacher at the American Academy for Girls. In this role, they were responsible for the French department's curriculum and delivery of instruction, as well as coaching and mentoring other staff members.

In 2020, Virginia became an IB DP French Teacher at the American International School in Abu Dhabi. Virginia developed and delivered the curriculum for multiple levels of French classes, including the IB Diploma Program, and participated in professional development opportunities.

In 2021, Virginia served as the French Coordinator at Repton Dubai, where they reshaped the curriculum and led the department by scheduling meetings, setting agendas, and addressing department goals.

From 2022 to 2023, Virginia worked as a Sales Territory Manager and Educational Consultant at Perfect Purity, where they assisted schools in determining the best resources for their curriculum needs and provided guidance on French program development.

Currently, Virginia is employed as the Regional Sales Manager - MENA at Membean. In this role, they generate leads, supports existing customers, delivers presentations and trainings, and represents the company at educational conferences and webinars.

Virginia Breder attended Texas Christian University from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in History and French. Following that, from 2000 to 2002, they pursued a Master of Education degree in Secondary Education at the same institution. In 2005, they obtained a certification in Secondary Education (6-12) French and History from the Illinois State Board of Education. Later, in 2015, they acquired a TEFL Certificate from the International TEFL Academy. Moving ahead, Virginia attained several additional certifications, including one in Human Resources from the Centre of Excellence in December 2020. In December 2021, they completed courses such as "Being an Effective Team Member" and "Excel Essential Training (Office 365/Microsoft 365)" through LinkedIn. Finally, in January 2022, they obtained the certification "Dealing with Difficult People in Your Office" also from LinkedIn.
