Barry Ross has over 10 years of professional experience in software engineering and development. In 2019, they began working as a Software Engineer for MemberSuite, Inc. Prior to that, they were the Owner and Freelance Full-stack Developer for 4D Media from 2009-2019, where they built their business and roster of clients through their focus on learning new technologies and solving problems. Barry also held contracts as a Frontend Developer/Consultant for Pacific Rim Films (2016) and Washington State Ski & Snowboard Museum (2014). In 2016, they were a Senior Full-stack Developer for NYU LaGuardia Studio, where they maintained and added new features to their internal system. In 2019, they were a Senior Frontend Developer for AVA Inclusivity and a WDI Instructor Lead for General Assembly in 2018. Barry was also a Senior Frontend Developer/Consultant for daypop (2018) and a Full-stack Developer for Sidebar Software, Inc (2018) and Versation (2017).

Barry Ross attended Lakeside School from 2000 to 2004. Barry then went on to The University of British Columbia, where they earned a B.A. in Cognitive Systems - Brain and Cognition Stream in 2009.
