Toni Laštre has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. From 2019, they have been working at Memgraph as the Head of Platform Engineering. Prior to this, they served as the VP Engineering Leader at CIAL Dun & Bradstreet from 2016 to 2019. From 2014 to 2019, Toni was the Lab Team Leader at Powerlinx, Inc. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer and completed an internship at Infobip from 2012 to 2014. Toni also held the role of IT Team Leader at eSTUDENT from 2012 to 2013. Toni was a regular member of the Board of European Students of Technology from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, Toni completed an internship at Ericsson in 2012. Toni was part of the organizing team for the App Start Contest at eSTUDENT from 2011 to 2012.
Toni Laštre completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, from 2008 to 2011. Following this, Toni pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Telecommunications and Informatics from the same university, from 2011 to 2013. In addition to formal education, Toni also acquired several certifications, including "Gamification" from the University of Pennsylvania (Coursera) in May 2013, "Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1" from Stanford University (Coursera) in December 2012, "Computing for Data Analysis" from John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (Coursera) in December 2012, and "Building a Search Engine" from University of Virginia (Udacity) in April 2012. Prior to these, Toni achieved the Black Belt 1st Dan in Taekwondo from Kukkiwon, World Taekwondo Headquarters in June 2007.
