Saminda Jayatileke

Saminda Jayatileke is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware design and integration. Currently serving as a Principal Hardware Design Engineer at Memjet Technology since May 2012, Saminda leads the electrical design for the Duralink printing system, focusing on scalable and modular printing architectures. Prior roles include Senior Hardware Design Engineer at Memjet, providing hardware design support and resolving production issues, and Senior Electronics Design Engineer at Silverbrook Research Pty Ltd, specializing in printer electronics for high-volume manufacturing. Saminda's earlier experience includes managing R&D at Farnow Technologies in electric vehicle technology and serving as a Senior Research Associate at the University of Technology Sydney, developing control systems for wind generators. Saminda holds a Master Of Engineering Management and a BE (Honours) in Instrumentation and Control from the University of Technology Sydney.
