Thomas Vovan

Thomas Vovan, MD has extensive work experience in the medical field. Thomas began their career in 2000 as an Intensivist at MemorialCare Orange Coast Medical Center and also established their own practice, Thomas Vovan, MD, Inc, where they served as President. In 2003, they became a Senior Partner at SoCal Respiratory Medical Group. In 2015, they joined MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center as the Medical Director of Critical Care Services and later became the Medical Director of Respiratory Therapy. In 2017 and 2018, they held the position of Vice Chief of Staff at the same organization. From 2019 to 2020, they served as the Chief of Staff. Dr. Vovan's varied roles demonstrate their expertise and leadership in the medical field.

Thomas Vovan, MD, completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology at UC Irvine in 1988. Thomas then went on to earn their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of California, Irvine - College of Medicine in 1993. From 1993 to 1996, they pursued their Internal Medicine training at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Following this, they completed a fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care at the University of California, Irvine - College of Medicine from 1997 to 2000.
