Chris Charlton

Chris Charlton is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in machine learning, natural language processing, and information retrieval. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Memorify since June 2025, Chris has held pivotal roles such as Director at Denu Limited since November 2009, Founder and CTO of SmartInfoSearch Limited, and ML Advisor at Alchemy Machines. Previous positions include Principal Engineer at Rithum and CTO at both CADEERA and RegSimple Ltd. Additionally, Chris has contributed to transformative initiatives at RegGenome and served as Tech Lead at the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance. Chris holds a Ph.D. in Information Retrieval in Engineering Design from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Queens' College, Cambridge.
