Marius Ørvik has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2005 as a Customer Service Agent for Scancall Tele 24 AS. In 2007, they took on the role of Content Manager for Prisguide.no at Edda Digital. In 2009, they became a Web Specialist (SEM/SEO/CRO) at Komplett Group, where they were responsible for a budget of several million NOK and social media. In 2011, they became Head of Digital at Jernia AS, where they managed a turnover of 3.5 BNOK. In 2014, they Co-Founded and became Chief Marketing Officer at Moonwalk, building 7 startups with crowdsourcing from more than 60 people. Finally, in 2016, they took on the role of VP of Growth at Memory (formerly Timely).
Marius Ørvik completed a Markedsøkonom degree from BI Norwegian Business School between 2011 and 2014, focusing on Marketing, Management, and Finances. In 2016, they completed an online Machine Learning course from Stanford University. In 2018, they obtained a Neural Networks and Deep Learning certification from Coursera, followed by an Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization certification in the same year. In 2020, Marius graduated with honors from Yale University with a degree in Financial Markets. Marius also obtained a Financial Markets (with Honors) certification from Coursera that same year. In 2021, Marius obtained an Activation and Retention Strategy certification from Udacity, and an Insights Expert Certification from Amplitude. Marius is currently enrolled in a Growth Product Manager Nanodegree from Udacity.
