Danielle Miano

Danielle Miano is a community leader, creative writer, professional athlete/coach, and devout Buffalo Bills fan. She’s been involved with MemoryFox since the beginning and has watched the organization evolve from an individual storytelling platform to a haven for nonprofits to pursue their storytelling efforts.

Danielle believes in fostering connections and building bridges with people through empathy. She is an ally and writes stories of marginalized groups, hoping to bring understanding to the inequities that exist.

Danielle was a keynote ally speaker at 2021 Sony Pride, co-wrote a TV pilot focusing on the societal and athletic journey of a women's sports team, which was an Austin Film Festival runner-up. She also championed the development of US inclusivity policy in the sport of Touch Rugby.
