👾 George Markosian

George Markosian has over 17 years of experience in software engineering and game development. In 2004, they began working as a freelance web software engineer. In 2007, they joined UARank Technologies as a software engineer and team lead, where they developed various web and desktop applications using C#, .NET, MSSQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ActionScript, Flash, and Flex. In 2009, George became the first developer hired by Plarium in Ukraine, where they worked on 8 titles and set up and managed the client-side development department. In 2014, they were hired as a Technical Lead at Insollo Games, where they developed a scalable and fail-proof back-end for a multiplayer game with real-time battle mechanics. In 2016, they joined Come2Play as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed several features for the company's main project Backgammon Live and participated in technology migration from Flash to Unity. In 2017, George was hired by DGN Games as a Technical Lead, where they hired, trained, and managed a team of rock star developers and launched several big features in short term. In 2019, they founded Build1, an outsourcing studio, and served as Founder, CEO, and CTO, leading a team of passionate software engineers and game developers. Most recently, in 2021, George joined memoryOS as CTO, providing cutting-edge technology expertise and preserving high-quality standards of engineering while managing the daily operations of the engineering and quality assurance teams.

George Markosian obtained a Bachelor in Computer Engineering from Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics between 2004 and 2008. 👾 George has also obtained three certifications from Udemy, including High Performance Coding with .NET Core and C# in January 2020, Unity 2019 3D Game Physics in January 2020, and Unity 3D - Create a Reusable UI System in December 2019.
