Wei Lu is the James R. Mellor Professor of Engineering at the University of Michigan in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department. They are a co-founder and CEO of MemryX Inc., which focuses on developing AI chips for edge devices, and previously served as co-founder and Chief Scientist at Crossbar Inc. Wei Lu completed a Ph.D. in Physics at Rice University after earning a BS in Physics from Tsinghua University. They have received multiple accolades, including the NSF CAREER Award and the IEEE Fellow distinction.
