Mourad E. serves as the President & CEO of MEMS Vision since January 2009, leading a company specializing in high-quality smart sensors and electronics for IoT applications across various markets. Mourad co-founded McGill University and held the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, where significant contributions included holding the William Dawson Scholar Chair and involvement in nanofabrication initiatives. Additionally, Mourad served as Associate Vice Principal for Research & International Relations at McGill, overseeing a substantial research budget. Prior experience includes roles at iNovia Capital, MEMSCAP, IBM, and ALCATEL. Mourad holds a Ph.D. in Microsystems from McGill University, a Master's in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Vanderbilt University, and a Bachelor's degree from Ain Shams University.
