Marcs Wilkinson

Marcs Wilkinson has a diverse range of work experience in product design and research. Marcs is currently the Director of Product Design at Phrase, where they lead a team responsible for shaping the user experience and driving design innovation. Prior to this, Marcs worked as a Product Design Lead and Product Designer at Phrase.

Before joining Phrase, Marcs was a Product Designer at BIEM ETC., a product design and prototype studio, where they worked from 2016 to 2020. Marcs also gained experience as a Designer/Research Assistant at Menrva Research Group and as a Research Assistant at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where they focused on sustainable food systems and proposed interventions to support regional food hubs.

In addition, Marcs has experience in sales and fundraising, having worked as a Salesperson at Bow Cycle & Sports and as a Tele-Fundraiser at Pareto Phone. Overall, Marcs has demonstrated expertise in product design, user research, and project management across various industries and organizations.

Marcs Wilkinson has a Bachelor of Design degree in Product from The Wilson School of Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, which they obtained between 2013 and 2017. Marcs also has a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, although the exact duration of this program is not specified. In addition, Marcs holds a Diploma in Business Administration and Management, General, as well as a Certificate in Business Management, both from Camosun College, which they completed from 2008 to 2010.
