Martin M. is a seasoned engineering manager with extensive experience in leading diverse technical teams across various companies. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Phrase, Martin oversees the platform department, including DevOps teams, and is responsible for incident management and DevOps metrics. Previously, as a Principal Engineering Manager at Microsoft, Martin led cross-functional teams for the Teams notifications backend, ensuring high throughput and reliability for millions of events. Martin also held roles at SAP Concur, GoodData, Home Credit China, and FoxCom, where responsibilities ranged from managing DevOps projects to overseeing the entire software development life cycle and mentoring engineering teams. Martin holds a Master of Science and Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from the Czech Technical University in Prague.
