Jeffrey Wang

Jeffrey Wang has had a long and successful career in the technology industry. Starting in 1995, they began working at Cisco Systems in various roles from Software Architect to Senior Director of Engineering. During this time, they were responsible for the software development for Cisco's flagship switching product Catalyst 6500, driving many innovations including satellite switching, virtual switching, SSL-VPN service card, and Cisco Trusted Security (CTS) initiatives. In 2005, they joined Nuova Systems as Senior Director of Engineering and was responsible for software development and QA for the next-generation data center products. In 2008, they returned to Cisco Systems as Vice President of Engineering, responsible for software development and QA for Cisco's UCS (Unified Computing System) and network virtualization. In 2013, they joined Big Switch Networks as Vice President of Engineering and was responsible for the overall engineering R&D and product development for Big Switch's next-generation data center networking products. In 2018, they joined Veriflow as Vice President of Engineering and was responsible for the overall engineering R&D and product development. In 2019, they joined Awake Security as Vice President of Engineering, backed by top tier VCs such as Greylock and Bain Capital Ventures. In 2020, they joined Arista Networks as Area VPE of the Cyber Security Division. Most recently, in 2023, they joined MemVerge as Vice President of Engineering.

Jeffrey Wang has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University.
