Thomas Kovacs

Thomas Kovacs, Ph.D., currently serves as an Analyst for Cabinets and Appliances at Menards, which is the third largest home improvement chain in the United States. Previously, Thomas held academic positions as an Assistant Professor and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Prior to these roles, Thomas gained experience as a Pre Doctoral Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh and contributed to multiple research projects while serving as both a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant. Thomas also worked as a Patent Consultant for Semantic Compaction® Systems, Inc., collaborating on several patents related to communication technologies. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh, an MA from the University of Colorado Boulder, and dual BA degrees from the University of Iowa in Speech and Hearing Sciences and English.
