Karen James

Karen James is an HR professional with significant experience across various roles in both private and nonprofit sectors. Currently, they serve as the Head of Reward and People Systems at Mencap, where they deliver a reward strategy, oversee people policy, and lead a digital transformation in HR. Previously, they worked as an HR Business Partner at Mencap and as an HR Manager at Safeway. Karen holds an MSc in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from The London School of Economics and a BA (Hons) in Politics and Government from the City of London Polytechnic. They are also qualified as an Agile HR practitioner.
