Mary O'Hagan

Mary O'Hagan has extensive experience in fundraising and corporate engagement, currently serving as Acting Executive Director Fundraising at Mencap since March 2019, where leadership of a 130-member team, including 40 fundraisers, has resulted in securing approximately £13.5 million across various income streams. Previously, roles include Fundraising Director at Mencap, where the focus was also on achieving the same income target, and Deputy Fundraising Director at Cruse Bereavement Care. O'Hagan has held senior positions, such as Trustee (Vice Chair) at Action for Children and Head of Corporate Engagement, overseeing multiple teams and maintaining direct accountability for significant fundraising outcomes. Educational qualifications include a First Class Honours degree in Management from Queens University Belfast and event management training from the Fitzwilliam Institute.
