Sion Jones is an experienced policy and influencing professional with a strong background in community engagement and advocacy. Currently serving as the Policy and Influencing Lead for Wales at Mencap since September 2023, Sion has previously worked as the National Influencing Officer for Wales at Alzheimer’s Society from April 2021 to September 2023, and as a Community Liaison Assistant at the Senedd from January 2019 to April 2021. In October 2018, Sion completed a work experience placement at the Legal Services of the National Assembly for Wales. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with a 2:1 from Swansea University and a Master of Laws (LLM) with Distinction in Governance and Devolution from Cardiff University.
