Suzanne Parish

Employment Caseworker

Suzanne Parish has extensive experience in education and support for individuals with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Starting as a Lecturer in Entry Level Studies at Wakefield College from 1995 to 2015, Suzanne taught various subjects including Functional Skills and coordinated adult SEND provisions. Subsequent roles included teaching positions at Meadowcroft School and Protocol Education, focusing on ICT and PHSE, as well as supporting children in various schools across West Yorkshire. Suzanne has also worked as a Support Worker at MENCAP Leeds, engaging young people with learning disabilities in enrichment activities, and as an Employment Caseworker at Mencap, providing vocational guidance and training for employers. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Degree (PGCE) from The University of Huddersfield and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Staffordshire University.
