Muthukumarappa Jayakumar

Muthukumarappa Jayakumar has worked in a variety of roles since 2001. Muthukumarappa started as a Software Developer at DCom Solutions Pvt Ltd, where they wrote a defect tracking tool using COM framework in Visual Basic 6.0. In 2006, they joined EMC as a Software Engineer and eventually became a Senior Principal Software Engineer. During their time at EMC, they worked for the BPM and Case Management Engineering group, using Java, Spring Framework, ANTLR, Gradle, Grails, and Groovy. In 2015, they rejoined Workday as a Principal Software Developer, where they built and managed infrastructure to generate online timeseries reports using 1.2 TB of logs generated per day. In 2018, they moved to Apixio as a Senior Software Engineer, where they helped build applications from scratch. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Mendel.ai, where they work with React JS, Rx JS, Scala, Akka, and Apache Spark.

Muthukumarappa Jayakumar obtained a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University between 2004 and 2006.
