Thomas Ryd

Thomas Ryd has a long and impressive work history. Thomas began their career in 2000 as an IT Consultant for Telenor ASA where they developed solutions in Microsoft AS and SAP R/3 ABAP, and was also a Technical Project Manager for the implementation of SAP myHR. In 2001, they became a Project Manager at Oslo Research Park, where they were responsible for new business development from idea scouting to commercial inception. In 2004, they moved to Innovation Norway London as a Project Consultant. In 2005, they became the Incubator Manager at Oslo Innovation Center, where they developed an accelerator for technology start-ups. That same year, they also co-founded Smartlink AS, a mobile content company, and was the company's CEO until its acquisition. In 2006, they became an Investment Manager at Springfondet. From 2008 to 2011, they co-founded CFEngine AS and CFEngine, Inc, and was the leader of both. Finally, in 2017, they co-founded and became the leader of Northern.tech, where they work to create easy-to-use solutions that will secure the world's connected devices.

Thomas Ryd received their Msc in Economics from BI Norwegian Business School between 1994 and 1999. Thomas also completed an Msc in Economics from Universität St.Gallen, Switzerland in 1997.
