Arjen Hoekstra

Arjen Hoekstra has extensive experience in software development, currently serving as a Software Development Manager at Mendix since January 2007, overseeing six teams in the Front-end group. Previous roles at Mendix include Team Lead, focusing on backend development for the Mendix Platform using technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java/Scala, and C#, and as a Software Developer, where responsibilities involved design and implementation of the Mendix Runtime. Earlier internship experience at the National Institute of Informatics in Japan involved research on eye tracking for adaptive virtual presentations. Arjen holds an MSc and BSc in Computer Science from the University of Twente.
