Ersel Bora

Ersel BORA is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in backend development and team leadership. Currently serving as an IAM Team Lead and Senior Java Software Engineer at Mendix since August 2020, Ersel focuses on implementing new functionalities within the Identity Services Team using Mendix and Java 11, while also contributing to DevOps processes and ensuring product security. Previous roles include Backend Developer at Eurail.com, where Ersel utilized AWS and the Serverless framework, and Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead at Aegon, responsible for managing the Apigee Platform and API lifecycle. With extensive experience spanning multiple projects and companies since 2010, Ersel has a solid foundation in Java, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies. Ersel holds a Master of Science in Geographic Information Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
