Tom de Groot

Tom de Groot is an experienced professional in product management and law with a strong focus on technology and customer experience. Currently serving as Director of Product Management, Cloud at Mendix since November 2018, Tom has previously held roles such as Senior Product Manager and Product Manager Mendix Cloud. Prior to Mendix, Tom was a Product Manager for Payments at Mollie, enhancing payment performance for over 50,000 merchants. Tom’s background also includes significant experience at Coolblue as Product Owner for Payments & Ordering and roles in software development, customer service, and legal advisory positions. Holding a Master’s Degree in Commercial Law and a Bachelor’s in Law from Erasmus School of Law, Tom has also gained international exposure through studies at Santa Clara University School of Law.
