Egill Ingolfsson

Egill Ingolfsson has worked in the technology industry since 2014. At Meniga, they have held the roles of Senior Solutions Architect, Solutions Architect, and Senior Technical Lead since 2017. In these roles, they have been responsible for leading and defining solutions architecture, working with engineering, project managers, sales, and product teams, analyzing and translating business requirements into technical solutions, and managing development and providing quality technical deliverables for clients. Prior to Meniga, Egill worked at Libra from 2014 to 2017 as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for financial software system architecture, programming and maintenance for clients, full stack engineering, designing and implementing UI/UX, and working closely with the Libra Sales team. Projects were built mainly using Microsoft Framework; Microsoft .NET, Visual Basic.NET and Visual Basic.

Egill Ingolfsson began their education in 2007 at the Junior College of Akureyri, where they studied Natural Sciences and Mathematics until 2011. Egill then attended Háskóli Íslands in 2011 to complete coursework in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. From 2012 to 2015, Egill attended Háskóli Íslands again, this time to earn their Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering.
