Christopher Ford has over 25 years of work experience in various roles related to software engineering and electronics design. Christopher'smost recent position was as a Principal Software Engineer at Menlo Security Inc. Since 2016, they have been responsible for software development and engineering. Prior to this role, they worked for Cisco as a Technical Lead for six years, where they focused on systems layer software and telepresence infrastructure appliances. Christopher was also a Senior Software Engineer at TANDBERG, which was acquired by Cisco, and a Software Engineer at Oxford Semiconductor and nSine. Ford began their career at Carver as an Electronic Design Engineer, working on Full Sequence Controls for gas heaters. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in C, C++, ARM, embedded systems, resource-constrained environments, network stacks, protocols, circuit design, PCB layout, firmware development, and manufacturing.
Christopher Ford completed their Master of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Cambridge, during the period from 1994 to 1998.
