William L.

William L. currently serves as a Menlo Fellow at Menlo Ventures since October 2024, following a brief tenure as a Founder in Residence at Entrepreneurs First, where the focus was on building impactful companies. Prior experience includes a role as Machine Learning Engineer II at Amazon, leading MLOps initiatives and search infrastructure. William has held various positions such as Founder Fellow at On Deck, Founding Engineer at CoPilot, and has conducted research at The University of Texas at Austin and Carnegie Mellon University in areas like Human-Computer Interaction and Multimodal Machine Learning. With a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science and a minor in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, William has also contributed as a teaching assistant across multiple subjects and led research efforts in operating systems and cognitive science methodologies.
