Kristian Hellquist

Kristian Hellquist is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Mentimeter since May 2019, Kristian's previous roles include Engineering Manager and Senior Fullstack Engineer. At Mynewsdesk, from April 2011 to April 2019, Kristian held various positions, including CTO, CTO/CPO, and Head of Development, where responsibilities encompassed oversight of development teams, budget management, and strategic product direction. Kristian founded a consultancy for web development and has held technical positions at several companies including Scanworld Travelpartner AB, menyou.com, Trig.com, and as a co-owner of a web-consultancy firm, dela med noll. Kristian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Engineering and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Information and Communication from Lund University.
