Brian Lawrence

Brian Lawrence has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Brian is currently working as a Leadership and Engineering Coach at Mento, where they help software engineers, UX designers, new managers, scrum masters, and IT specialists transform their job into a career. Prior to this, Brian worked as a Technology Consultant at Spero Autem LLC in 2021. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at Cerner Corporation, starting as a Software Engineering Manager, then becoming a Senior Design Manager, and eventually becoming the Design Operations Manager (Lead Business Operations Analyst). Brian also has experience as a Co-Founder of Career Boot Camp Coaches, LLC, where they developed a two-day workshop focused on self-discovery and self-direction, and later pivoted the company to focus on a digital career coach. In addition, they have held multiple roles at Siemens Healthcare, including Software Engineering Manager, Scrum Master, and Software Engineer. Overall, Brian Lawrence has a strong background in leadership, engineering, coaching, and consultancy.

Brian Lawrence attended Pennridge Highschool from 1996 to 2000, where they did not obtain a degree or specialize in a particular field of study. Following that, from 2000 to 2005, Brian pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Drexel University. Alongside their formal education, Brian has also obtained several certifications. In February 2020, they became a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) through the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). In September 2020, Brian earned the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance. Furthermore, in April 2022, they completed the course "Metaverse and NFTs for Marketing" through LinkedIn. Prior to this, in June 2022, they obtained the certification "Leading like a Futurist" from LinkedIn. Most recently, in July 2022, Brian became a Certified Nuxt Master by completing the program offered by Vue School.
