Emily Ryan has an extensive work experience. Emily began their career in 2008 as a Research & Innovation - Publications Officer at RMIT University. In 2009, they became a Digital Colourist - Film & TV. In 2016, they took part in the Remote Year program. In 2017, they worked at CoDev as a Co-Founder, at Safe and Equal as a Senior Digital Producer and Senior Communications Advisor, and at Worksmith as a Brand Manager. Finally, in 2018, they became the Head Of Marketing at Mentorloop. Throughout their career, Emily has worked on a variety of projects, from launching an app to help women identify patterns of behaviour, to bringing film and TV projects to life, to managing integrated campaigns.

Emily Ryan obtained their BCS Foundation Certificate in Agile from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in September 2018. Emily also obtained their Inbound Marketing Certification and SEO Certification from HubSpot Academy in November 2018. In September 2021, they obtained their Product Adoption Academy certification from Appcues and their Product-Led Growth Certified certification from ProductLed. In November 2019, they obtained their Google Ads Search Certification from Google. In June 2021, they obtained their LinkedIn Marketing Strategy certification from LinkedIn. In January 2018, they obtained their Certified Mentor certification from Mentorloop. In September 2006, they obtained their Certificate IV in Retail Operations from TAZA. Emily also has a Post-Graduate Certificate of Marketing from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Film and Television from Swinburne University of Technology. Additionally, they are PMA Certified from Product Marketing Alliance and is experienced in Colour Correcting & Colour Grading.
