Seth Saavedra

Seth Saavedra has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Seth is currently working at Meow Wolf as a Director of Analysis & Insights. Prior to that, they held positions at Teach For America as the Managing Director of People Analytics & Strategy and at Sandia Wellness as a Data Engineer. Seth also worked as an Associate Researcher at The University of New Mexico and as an Education Advocacy Fellow at 50CAN: The 50-State Campaign for Achievement Now. Seth has also held roles at Pahara Institute, Leadership for Educational Equity, NACA Inspired Schools Network, and EdTech Entrepreneurs Lab. Seth brings extensive experience in data analysis and strategy, talent recruitment, education advocacy, and technology-driven innovation in the field of education.

Seth Saavedra obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics, English, and Philosophy from The University of New Mexico, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Seth further pursued their education at the UNM Anderson School of Management from 2017 to 2019 and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a field of study in Urban Education and Leadership.

In addition to their formal education, Seth Saavedra has obtained several certifications. These include Excel Data Analysis: Forecasting from LinkedIn in January 2023, UNM Anderson Mentor from The University of New Mexico in December 2022, Advanced Reporting & Analytics, Calculated Fields, Report Writer, and Workday HCM Expert from Workday in January 2022, and Exploratory Data Analysis in R, Introduction to Writing Functions, HarvardX Data Science: Inference and Modeling, and Working with Dates and Times in R from DataCamp in 2021. Seth also acquired certifications in Cleaning Data in R, Intermediate Importing Data in R, Introduction to Importing Data in R, Data Manipulation with dplyr, Intermediate Data Visualization with ggplot2, Introduction to Data Visualization with ggplot2, Joining Data with dplyr, Intermediate R, and Introduction to the Tidyverse from DataCamp in 2020. Seth Saavedra's earliest certification, HarvardX Data Science: Probability, was obtained from edX in July 2019.
