MEPbrain – Automated Intelligence for Building Systems Design

MEPbrain is a SaaS platform that automates the design, coordination and cost estimation of building services (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sprinklers, and controls). Starting from architectural plans (IFC, DWG, or PDF) and project specifications, our AI-assisted engine generates:

– Fully routed and coordinated 3D models
– 2D drawings and technical schematics
– Bill of quantities and cost estimation
– Submission-ready documentation
– Variant testing and multicriteria comparison

Built for:
– Developers & architects: generate optimized MEP options during early design
– Engineering consultants: accelerate repetitive building types (residential, offices, hotels)
– Owners & project managers: make earlier and better-informed decisions

Technologies:
– Rule-based engine + customizable code library (SIA, DIN, RE2020…)
– Spatial solver for constrained environments
– Smart model analysis (IFC/DWG/PDF) via IfcOpenShell, Speckle, etc.
– Interactive interface for design variant exploration

Our vision: Become the European reference in automated technical design, empowering engineers and democratizing access to high-quality, optimized and code-compliant building systems.
