James Dechow

James Dechow is an established IT professional with extensive experience in software development and product management. Currently serving as the Director of Software Development Engineering at Merative since October 2015, James is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Merative Clinical Development platform. Prior to this role, James founded First Vertex in April 2006, where solutions were created for wealth management providers, including a SaaS platform. As Product Manager at ChannelAdvisor from June 2011 to July 2014, James managed SaaS products for internet retailers, launching innovative tools for custom product data feeds. Earlier at Fiserv, between August 2003 and June 2006, James directed the development and marketing of software products for the investment industry. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Strategy and Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.
