For decades, the physical commodity trading industry has struggled with inefficiency, mistrust, and fraud. Endless chains of intermediaries, falsified documents, and unreliable brokers have caused billions in losses and wasted countless hours — while real opportunities are lost in the noise.

Mercatorem exists to change this.

We have built a new framework for international commodity trade, designed to restore trust and streamline transactions between serious buyers and sellers. Our platform combines advanced in-house tools, expert brokerage oversight, and industry-standard safeguards to protect every participant.

How we solve the problem:

- Verification & Filtering – Rigorous in-house tools validate companies, mandates, and intermediaries, cutting out fraud and ensuring only verified actors enter negotiations.

- Smart Connections – Buyers and sellers can connect directly, or our brokers match parties based on their stated requirements and preferences.

- Transparent Negotiations – Every negotiation is tracked in a single source of truth, coordinated by experienced brokers, with timestamps, documents, and key milestones accessible to all parties.

- End-to-End Services – From financial instruments to logistics, storage, and insurance, Mercatorem integrates essential services that increase the chances of a successful close.

- Fair Intermediary Model – Verified mandates and intermediaries are protected, but without obstructing direct communication between final buyers and sellers — balancing efficiency with fairness.

By combining technology, verification, and human expertise, Mercatorem reduces risk, accelerates transactions, and maximizes trust in one of the world’s most complex industries.

At Mercatorem we are redefining trust and efficiency in global commodity trade.
